BETTY B. WALKER, ESQ.

Betty Bush Walker founded Bush & Miller Attorneys at Law in 1986. Her practice areas include but are not limited to serious personal injury, wrongful death, workers compensation, wills & probate, as well as general civil litigation.

After obtaining her B.S. in Nursing from Albany State University, Attorney Walker worked for over a decade as a registered nurse. This experience and insight assist Attorney Walker when she evaluates the injuries and pain & suffering of her personal injury clients. After a successful career in nursing, Attorney Walker attended Atlanta Law School and received her J.D. in 1986. She later returned to Atlanta Law School and obtained her LLM (Masters of Law).

Within the legal community, she is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, National Bar Association, Gate City Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, South Fulton Bar Association, Board Member of Gate City Day Nursery. She has been recognized by the National College of Advocacy in Trial Advocacy, International Who’s Who of Professionals in 2000, and Annual Pinnacle Leadership Award in Areas of Law (Business and Entrepreneurship) in 2004.

Attorney Walker is also very active in the community a proud member of several social/civic organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, The Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Society, Inc., The Atlanta Chapter of Chums, Inc., The Magnolia Chapter of the Links, Inc., Metro Atlanta Chapter of the Drifters, Inc., and Just Friends, Inc. She is also a loving wife, mother, and avid tennis player.
